The extension will house art and artefacts owned by Scarborough Council. The Scarborough Fair Collection is working in collaboration with Woodend Art Gallery, who have responsibility for displaying objects from Scarborough Council’s archives.

The Scarborough Fair Collection consists of vintage cars, motorcycles, a 1915 bus, fire engines, tractors, steam engines, vintage fairground rides and fifteen mechanical organs, the star of the show being the ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer Organ in the ballroom.

The attraction is set in the scenic grounds of the Flower of May Holiday Park, on the coast road between Filey and Scarborough. It is open to visitors from early April until November; Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. They are also open on Bank Holiday Mondays.
