The Filey Food Festival Returns!

Events, Filey   /   Tags: , ,

After a miserable summer of cancelled events, we are overjoyed to welcome the Filey Food Festival back to the Crescent Gardens this weekend; Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August. There will be thirty-five stalls with products from around the world, including some of Yorkshire’s finest producers.

Chris Elley and his team have pulled out all the stops to ensure that the event goes ahead, with a one way system in place, stewards to ensure that visitor numbers are kept manageable and increased distancing between stalls (the number of stalls has been reduced from 68 to 35). To enter the stalls in the Evron Gardens, visitors are asked to use the entrance beside the Post Office, for the Crescent Gardens entry will be at the Belle Vue end and exit at the Crescent Hill.

There will be a good selection of artisan food and drink to buy from the likes of the Blessed Olive, Burtree Puddings, Sawley Kitchen and the Twisted Curry just to name a few. Let’s hope that the Clerk of the Weather casts a kindly eye over the town and that the first of Filey’s festivals to return is a roaring, and safe, success.
