The annual Filey Lions Ball Race will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 4 August. It’s basically a load of balls, a digger and a steep hill. First numbered ball that arrives at the bottom of Cargate Hill first wins. Simple and fun!

Tickets are on sale priced £1. Members of Filey Lions will be selling tickets in the street and in there foyer of Tesco’s next week. All the money raised will be donated to local good causes.
