‘Thirty’, a licensed coffee shop and eatery swung open its doors on Monday on Belle Vue Street. With a breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menus, Thirty is likely to become a Filey favourite with locals and visitors alike.

The owners previously ran the popular Bayside Kitchen at The Bay resort just down the road, so the renovation of the previously empty property was a labour of love. The attractive shop front is yet another fillip for the rapidly improving Belle Vue Street.

With a local artist’s work displayed on the walls and a modern feel, Thirty raises the bar in the strongly competitive cafe scene in the town. Thirty is a dog friendly cafe, although it is asked that dogs are kept on leads at all times.
