It might seem a long way off, but the dates of the hugely popular food festivals held on The Crescent Gardens have been announced. They are as follows:

April 16th, 17th
June 18th, 19th
August 13th, 14th
October 15th, 16th
November 19th, 20th

Of course, 2022 marks Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. After a difficult 2021 for all of our country, which of course included the death of Prince Phillip, a national celebration might just be what we need. A Big Jubilee Lunch is being held across Britain and the Commonwealth on Sunday 5th June. Filey Town Council have decided not to hold an official event, but are supportive of community events.

We think that a garden party on The Crescent Gardens would be a perfect way to mark the Platinum Jubilee. Is there a more perfect location? The summer series of concerts have yet to be announced for the bandstand, perhaps that could be a central element of a Crescent Garden Party?
