Early bird tickets are now on sale for Filey’s popular folk festival. The three headline acts are as follows.
Friday 8 May: Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers; The She Shanties
The She Shanties are Filey’s own all-female troupe. Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers are a Nashville/Scottish combo.
Saturday 9 May: The Dan Webster Band; Lachlan Bryan and the Wildes
The Dan Webster Band play Anglicana, a mix of English folk and Americana. Lachlan Bryan and the Wildes are a folk-country-soul band from Australia.
Sunday 10 May: Rangari; Plumhall
Irish festival favourites, Rangari, play contemporary folk with harp, bodhran and harp. Plumhall are an acclaimed folk duo who are making their Filey debut.
Tickets that cover all three headline acts at the Evron Centre are available for £28. Tickets for individual concerts are priced at £10. Tickets can be purchased from Filey Post Office, Filey Travel or from the festival organiser Chris Lee on 07808 871118.
