Listening to a brass band concert in the Crescent Gardens is one of the highlights of summer. Who can resist lazing in a striped deckchair, whilst the homely tones of a Yorkshire band carries on the gentle summer breeze.

The award winning Crescent Gardens are a joy in themselves, but on Sundays between June and September they come to life with the traditional afternoon concerts.

The line up for the 2020 summer season of concerts in the Crescent Garden’s Bandstand has been released. Thirteen bands will play between June and September. All concerts commence at 2pm and end by 4pm. Concerts are free, but there is a collection to help cover the costs.
